Applies to: TerraAqua product sales, quotations, promotions, subscriptions and pricing information

1. Purpose

This policy explains how TerraAqua presents prices, promotions, quotations, taxes, fees and product availability for goods, digital content and services.

2. Clear total pricing

Consumer prices will be presented clearly, accurately and as the total amount the consumer must pay, including mandatory taxes, charges and fees that can reasonably be calculated in advance.

Where a mandatory charge cannot reasonably be calculated in advance, TerraAqua will explain how it is calculated before the customer is bound by the order.

3. VAT

Prices displayed to consumers include VAT where VAT is applicable, unless the page clearly and lawfully states otherwise. Business quotations may show prices excluding VAT, provided this is made clear and the applicable VAT is identified.

4. Delivery charges

Delivery charges are shown before the customer submits the order. They may vary by destination, size, weight and delivery service. Delivery charges are governed by the Shipping & Delivery Policy.

5. Optional extras

Optional products or services will not be treated as mandatory charges. Customers must actively select any chargeable optional extra where consent is required.

6. No drip pricing

TerraAqua will not intentionally advertise an incomplete headline price and then add unavoidable charges later in the purchase process.

7. Product pricing

Product pages may display:

8. ReefCore and additional hardware

Where a ReefCore Controller requires separate sensors, PoE equipment, cables, probes or other hardware for a particular function, the product page will identify that requirement. The controller price does not include an item that is clearly described as sold separately.

9. Subscription prices

Recurring charges, billing frequency, renewal arrangements and cancellation rights are shown before subscription purchase and are governed by the Subscription Terms.

10. Quotations

A written quotation is valid for the period stated in it. If no period is stated, it is normally valid for 30 days unless withdrawn because of an obvious error, legal restriction or material supply change before acceptance.

A quotation is not an accepted order until TerraAqua confirms acceptance.

11. Obvious pricing errors

TerraAqua takes reasonable care to ensure prices are correct. If a price is clearly erroneous, TerraAqua may contact the customer before accepting or dispatching the order and offer the choice of proceeding at the correct price or cancelling for a full refund.

TerraAqua will not rely on this clause to avoid a contract merely because a later price would be more commercially favourable.

12. Promotions and discount codes

Promotions may be subject to eligibility criteria, dates, stock limits, product exclusions, territory limits and one-use restrictions. Material conditions will be displayed with the promotion or made readily accessible before purchase.

Discount codes have no cash value and cannot normally be combined unless stated otherwise.

13. Reference and comparison prices

Any “was”, recommended retail, introductory or comparison price will be genuine, clear and not misleading. TerraAqua will provide enough context for a consumer to understand the basis of the comparison.

14. Availability

Displaying a product does not guarantee stock. Availability may change before an order is accepted. If TerraAqua cannot fulfil an accepted order, it will provide the options and refund required by law.

15. Pre-orders and back orders

Estimated availability for pre-orders and back orders is not guaranteed unless expressly stated. Customers will be informed of material delay and may cancel where applicable.

16. Currency

Unless stated otherwise, prices on the United Kingdom website are in pounds sterling. Currency conversion performed by a bank, card issuer, app store or payment provider is outside TerraAqua's control.

17. Payment authorisation

Orders may be subject to payment authorisation, fraud screening and verification. A payment authorisation does not by itself mean TerraAqua has accepted the order.

18. Price changes

TerraAqua may change future prices at any time. A price change does not normally affect an order already accepted or a subscription period already paid for.

19. Business and volume pricing

Business, trade, distributor, project or volume pricing may be agreed separately. Eligibility, minimum quantities, payment terms and permitted use may be set out in the quotation or agreement.

20. Resale

Purchase through the consumer website does not automatically grant authorised-reseller status, rights to use TerraAqua branding or permission to represent that the buyer acts for TerraAqua.

21. Taxes and international charges

For international sales, import VAT, customs duties, brokerage fees and local charges may be payable by the customer unless TerraAqua expressly states they are included.

22. Consumer rights

Nothing in this policy limits mandatory rights concerning misleading pricing, unfair commercial practices, cancellation, refunds or faulty goods.

23. Contact

Pricing and sales enquiries may be sent to info@terra-aqua.co.uk.
